GENERAL REQUIREMENTS (For all positions):

  • Be a United States citizen, or be authorized to work in this country (all verified through E-Verify)

  • Ability to clearly read, write and speak English

  • Pass extensive background investigation

  • Be drug-free, with ability to pass initial and random drug screenings

  • Minimum of High School or equivalent education (with preference given to those with at least two years college education

  • Understanding of training requirements, including continued education training expectations

  • Be physically capable of handling duties required of position

 

PATROL OFFICER REQUIREMENTS:

  • Clean driving record with current MVR

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in law enforcement, military or related security profession

  • Ability to achieve armed status

  • Minimum of 2 years of college education

  • Able to pass fitness exam / physical

 

SPECIAL OPERATIONS DIVISION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Clean driving record with current MVR

  • Current P.O.S.T. certification <or> minimum of 4 years military experience related to law enforcement

  • Ability to achieve armed status

  • Minimum of 2 years of college experience

  • Able to pass fitness exam / physical

 

DISPATCH OPERATOR REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to type minimum 60 wpm

  • Ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment

  • Ability to clearly communicate via multi-channel radio system

  • Understanding of computer technology

  • Previous CAD experience preferred
